The scaffolding is up, the skips on the drive and our loft extension is in full swing!
Now is the time I get excited for, picking the interiors!
When we bought our house even after doing all the renovations to it (you can watch them here) we still knew we wanted to extend up into the loft.
We liked the idea of another bedroom and also adding another bathroom, both of which should have lovely views of our surrounding areas.
We kept putting it off but once we had our little one we knew we needed the bathtub that we didn’t have in our main bathroom. And here we are, Lily is 3 and half months old and we’ve finally started!
Onto the moodboards!

I LOVE the look of the contrasting black showers screens and showers against white tiles.
I’m into the sterotypical white bathroom but I think it just gives it such a clean finish and makes rooms feel very calm, which I guess is what you’re always wanting in a bathroom.

Even though we are putting in an actual bath, we still prefer a seperate shower rather than one over the bath.
I’m unsure whether to do the same tiles behind each or whether to go bolder behind the shower. I feel like this could make it look more of a feature.

We will be putting in veluxes in the roof and we both really, really like the idea of the bath being directly underneath the window.
In my head I’m imagining a lovely relaxing bubble bath, laying back and watching the stars. In reality I’m probably going to have to dig out bath toys before that’s even a possibily haha!
A girl can dream, ey?
What would you have in your ideal bathroom?
