We recently decided on a VERY last minute trip to Disneyland Paris. As we’re Annual Pass holders we tend to save staying in one of the onsite hotels for special occasions and events. So saying that when we looked for a hotel for this trip it was the Vienna House Magic Circus Hotel that popped up at being the best price.
It was a 4* hotel and ended up being only £167 (plus city tax) for three nights including breakfast. It seemed a little too good to be true but actually has turned into one of our favourite partner and offsite hotels.
We turned up at 4am after a hefty old 14 hour drive (we got stuck in a lot of traffic 😫). Magic Circus has a huge car park and we had no trouble finding a parking space. The receptionist was so lovely, got us checked in as fast as he could. He pointed out where breakfast would be and how to access the wifi before giving us a little leaflet with all that information plus a map to our room.
When we got to our room it had a double bed, bunk beds, a desk, wardrobe & a bathroom all circus themed! The theming was on par with Disney standards and although some of it was a little bit dated, we loved it! I’m not sure if it was the fact we were extremely tired or what but our bed was more than comfortable. I’d even go as far as saying more comfortable than Disneyland Paris beds.
The room has a fridge and also tea and coffee facilities with supplies. We didn’t know this but if it wasn’t a last minute trip it’s something we would have been looking for in a hotel so it was a bonus for us.
There was plenty of storage space, a safe and two tv’s in the room. One main tv and one for the bunk beds which you could separate off with a circus themed curtain.
On top of the bed of dreams was the bathroom. A power shower and all L’Occitane toiletteries.
L’Occitane shampoo, shower gel & hand wash. I know this isn’t for everyone but I always think it’s the little things that add to how much at home you feel at a hotel and that was what Magic Circus felt like. A home from home.
The Magic Circus also add something extra. So, instead of just your standard Do Not Disturb sign they had a little hessian bag as long as you didn’t mind them not replenishing your room. You popped it on your door before you went to sleep and you got a ‘surprise gift’. Ours were a small pack of mints each night but I just think it’s a nice little touch. This hotel is really on top of all those little touches that make a stay special.
Breakfast was pretty decent to be honest. Everything you’d want plus a bit more. It was a continental spread but wasn’t basic in the slightest. Lots of different pastries. Hot food, cold meats and cheese. Allllllll the bread you’d want and plenty of choices of cereal. Juices galore and fancy waters with lemon and lime.
All in all we loved our stay in the Vienna House Magic Circus Hotel at Disneyland Paris. We couldn’t rave about it enough to our friends we were at DLP with and would recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a more budget or last minute trip.
