I’m definitely not the only one who managed to grab the new Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil free in Elle Magazine. The difference is, I was out of the country so had to get my sister to frantically check all the shops back home to pick it up for me! I knew there was 2 colours, number 6 & number 2, and I wasn’t entirely sure which one would suit me. After seeing conflicting reviews of the pencil and more so of the colour, I was a bit sceptic but I don’t think I haven’t loved a Benefit product that I’ve got!
Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil Review
I used the Goof Proof Brow brow pencil the day after getting home. I’d gotten so used to using my trusty Primark brow kit with a slanted eyebrow brush. Spending about 5-10 minutes attempting to perfect my eyebrows. After nearly 6 weeks of travelling, my brows have got pretty unruly and are definitely due a trip to the Benefit brow bar, which makes that job so much more of a challenge.
I didn’t quite understand the shape of the pencil. The fact it’s kind of diamond-y still doesn’t make sense but I actually like it! It means I can fill in the bulkier bits of my brows but still be very precise with the arch and the flick at the end. It took me about 2 minutes to complete do my brows and be completely happy with them and not just “oh that’ll do” haha!
The colour I managed to get was Number 2 and I feel like it’s a very good colour for me. I haven’t had chance to compare it with the others but it’s a hundred percent going to be the product I grab for on natural brow days. When I don’t want a bold brow, but still want them to be there. I like the consistency of the Goof Proof Brow pencil; it’s kind of waxy but still very easy to make look natural. I don’t think you could go wrong with this, it’s very easy to be precise and not going crazy ‘my brows are taking over my face’. I guess that’s why it’s called Goof Proof, but it’s a favourite in my draw now! High Five Benefit! You’ve done it again!
