I fell off the health band wagon as soon as we set off on our Eurotrip! I clearly just can’t say no to all the bread and cheese, sorry.
I’d been doing quite well and I’d lost a fair bit and was on my way to reaching my first goal. But holidays like that are once in a lifetime kinda things and I wasn’t willing to be all ‘oh no I can’t eat that’ about someone offering me a macaron!
I’m not one of those people who can eat what they want and just maintain a healthy weight. I wish I was but nah, a moment on the lips is all about me.
I was quite a podgy kid, but it was all puppy dog weight which I lost in my last couple of years of school.
Then came the relationship stage where you’re really comfortable and I put a bit of weight on. I’d share pictures but lets save those for a later date.
How I’m losing weight
I know to a lot of people, they would see me and think I need to lose lots of weight. I’m not actually that far from a target I’ve loosely set.
Unfortunately, I’m needing to lose weight for something and not completely just for myself. Although, my mind set if a big part of it and I’m not going to deny that it’s definitely going to effect my confidence.
I’m back on the Slimming World train. I know this isn’t for everyone. It’s something I did a lot of research in at the beginning of the year and loved that it’s not extremely restrictive like other ‘diets’.
I’ve decided I’ll be sharing regular posts on this. Whether it’s gains or losses. Recipes or exercises I’ve done, I’m not 100% sure how I’m going about it. I’ve not thought that far ahead if I’m totally honest!
I know I want to try and share meal plans and how I plan stuff out too! Because that’s one of my favourite bits of doing this!
