5 Goals for the next 6 months

Goals

Lose 2 Stone

The holidays over now and I’ve got to get back to my healthier lifestyle. I actually miss salad and cooking. It’ll probably take me a bit of time to get back into the swing of things but it’s so worth it. It’s crazy that I’ve missed eating well when I have been eating so many luxury things, but my skin has suffered and I can totally tell I don’t have as much energy! My aim is 2 stone down by Christmas (so I can ignore Christmas Calories)

Reach 1000 Bloglovin’ Followers

This is probably the one that’s most unlikely. My bloglovin’ grows very slowly, I’m not complaining because I’m very grateful for every single person who follows my blog, but it’d be very nice to hit a milestone! I’m currently on 364 followers so I totally know this is aiming high, but a girl can dream right?

Get our Deposit together for a new house

This is one for me and Chris, but we’ve been saving on and off to buy our second house and we really want to move this year! We love our house but not so much our neighbours anymore. We’d looooove to buy some land one day and build our own house but I’m not sure how realistic that is in the near future. For now we’d be happy with a nice house with a little garden and a utility room would really please me (pinterest goals and all that)

Sort an ‘office’

Now I’m not meaning a seperate office to our house right now, but we need something! Currently both our printers & our filing cabinets are in our bedroom taking up a lot of space! I’m thinking potentially revamping our spare room and making it a work room. I hope Chris agrees to this because I’ve already got the flatlay setups in my head haha!

Have a proper routine

Even I’m not entirely sure what this means in my head. But I know I need some form of complete routine. Whether it’s my sleep, cooking/meal planning & prepping or cleaning. A decent sleep routine would probably make everything else fall into line but it’s not the easiest thing to do when one day you need to be up at 4 in the morning and the next day you’re only working 9am until 11am!

Do you have any goals for the rest of 2016?

      Thanks Nicole 🙂 x

  • These all sound like great things to work towards. I always think the bigger and more important your goals are to you, the harder you’ll work to achieve them! Good luck 🙂

I agree Laura, something to work towards and not just an easily achievable goal. Then the little ones are bonuses! x

  • Good luck with your goals and the house hunting! Exciting times perhaps 🙂 x

I really hope so Sarah! x

  • Elanor

Your list is basically the same as mine, except for the Bloglovin’ followers – I’ve no chance of getting that high (my current number is 31)! Good luck with achieving them! 🙂

You never know Elanor! I’m off to follow you now! x

      • Elanor

Thanks Helen, followed you too! 🙂 x

  • Good luck with your list, most of it seems achievable. I find my Bloglovin growth so inconsistent as well x

    • helen bunn

Agreed Rhian, I could have 5-10 one month but then none or the odd one the next month. I don’t mind it’d just be great to see constant growth 🙂 x

  • sarah Lea

What a lovely list. I need to loose two stone too. Your lis seems very doable and I can help with your bloglovin goal – now going over to follow! Good luck with your goals 🙂 xx

    • helen bunn

Thanks so much Sarah! I really appreciate it! It’s pushing it but hopefully it’s doable! xx

  • Melanie Edjourian

2 stone over the next six months is doable if you put your mind to it, good luck Helen x

    • helen bunn

      I’m on it Melanie! I’m determined 🙂 x

  • My Boglovin following is around the same, how on earth do you build a following on there? It is so difficult! I love your outfit by the way and I hope you reach your target xxx

    • helen bunn

Exactly! I don’t want to spam it everywhere haha! Thanks so much Ana! xxx

  • Love your outfit, and good luck on your goals!
You’ve inspired me, I kind of want to write my own 6 month goals now!

Aw that’s good Sarah! 6 month ones feel easier to achieve than year round ones xxx

  • Jessica

I know you can achieve all those. Excited with the house you will get. I am also contented with the garden and I do love arranging/designing new house. 🙂
