The Gooiest Cookies Ever! – Recipe

The very best gooey cookies recipe
If you ever need to just have some me time or you want to do some simple baking these are the perfect solution!
Most of the ingredients are usually in any household and they can be made in under half an hour. I absolutely love making these and eating them so give them a go and let me know what you think. Printable too!

The Gooiest Cookies Ever!

The Gooiest Cookies Ever!

Ingredients

  • 200g Butter / Margarine
  • 1 Egg
  • 75 g Cocoa Powder
  • 300g Caster / Granulated sugar
  • 275g Self Raising Flour
  • Chocolate / Fruit or whatever you'd like!

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 200 degrees celsius
  • This would be a good time to gather together your baking tray (I add baking paper on top too) because your hands may get sticky
  • Mix together your butter and sugar
  • Add in the egg to the mixture
  • Slowly add in flour, in portions whilst still mixing
  • Pop in the cocoa powder
  • Break up the chocolate or your extras and mix everything together
  • Place cookie balls the bigger the better in my opinion on your baking tray and bake for 10 minutes
  • Make sure you take your cookies out after 10 minutes!
  • AT THIS POINT IF ANY COOKIES ARE TOUCHING TAKE A SPATULA AND GENTLY MAKE A GAP BETWEEN THEM
  • For the most indulgence leave them to cool for roughly 5 minutes and then eat, this way the chocolate is still gooey and 10 times more luxurious!
