Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick Review

17th January 2015

Do you ever hear or read someone rave about a product over and over and just because of that you end up buying it? Well that just happened, oops!

I’ve watched Gabby/velvetgh0st go on about the Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick in the colour ‘Nudist‘ quite alot in her recent videos. It looks absolute gorgeous on her and I have been looking for a nude lipstick/gloss that would suit me for so long, so I decided to just pick one up and risk it.

I’m possibly the palest person I know, so as you can imagine, nude lips are hard for me to pull off. Like I said, I’ve watched Gabby mention this product several times, and she always mentions that it’s “a bit more brown-ey” than your average nude lip. I couldn’t agree more, in the tube i think it looks more peach, but when you put it on it definitely has more of a brown twist.

The gloss stick itself seems to be very moisturising, and in all honesty It has stopped my lips from chapping since I started using it, which is obviously great this time of the year! I don’t think the shine itself has the greatest staying power, but the colour seems to stay for longer. Oh, and the smell is amazing! Anything that smells of vanilla is a winner for me!

I’m not sure for the price of £8, it’s totally worth it. However, considering all aspects, the moisturising factor, the nude, slightly brown shade and the staying power of the colour. I definitely would buy this again and I’m having to stop myself going out and buying the 4 other gloss sticks in this range.

Have you tried any of the gloss sticks from Soap & Glory?
