So today, the 8th November 2016 is my 24th birthday. A birthday I’m always going to remember.
For the longest time I’ve had something hanging over my head and it’s finally gone.
man coward who did the worst thing he could possibly do to anyone has finally gone. 2 weeks ago I found out I can finally stop looking over my shoulder and this year is going to be the best one yet!
In September I unintentially managed to do a full month of being makeup free. Give or take a day or 3.
I’d love to say I have makeup free days to let my skin breathe and yada yada. But truthfully it’s because some days I’m just far too lazy to slather stuff on my face.
I had a post all set to go up on the 27th August. All about how we were starting to look for a new house. Something a bit bigger than ours, with a garden. Potentially a forever home.
Here I am, with that post 100% not published but actually already in the process of surveys & solicitors.
We spotted a house on rightmove and set up a viewing. I remember before we got our first home around 5 years ago. We must have viewed over 10 houses before we fell in love with the one we call home.
So, we went out on a limb with going to see this house. We hadn’t even checked if we’d be able to get a mortgage (but more about that another time).
Turns out, we both fell in love with it. I tried to have my sensible head on as the house needs quite a lot of work. I’m currently calling it the green house as everything in it seems to be different shades of it.
Green carpets, emerald shiny wallpaper, niiiiiiice, ey?
I fell off the health band wagon as soon as we set off on our Eurotrip! I clearly just can’t say no to all the bread and cheese, sorry.
I’d been doing quite well and I’d lost a fair bit and was on my way to reaching my first goal. But holidays like that are once in a lifetime kinda things and I wasn’t willing to be all ‘oh no I can’t eat that’ about someone offering me a macaron!
I love visiting quaint little cafes for afternoon tea. Not that it’s a major past time for me but it’s definitely something I enjoy doing when I can.
Something I’d never actually tried to do myself before was recreate and afternoon tea setup at home.
I’ve been wanting to share my morning/evening routine on here for a while now. I didn’t necessarily want to do a generic this is what I do post.
I love watching routine videos on YouTube and I’d probably go as far as saying some of them are my favourite ones to watch! I stumbled across this tag on Rosie Mae Aroha’s blog and thought it was a slightly different way of letting you in to what I do!
It seems like every woman and her dog has started a bullet journal this year!
Planning & Scrapbooking is something I’ve always had an interest in but bullet journalling pretty much combines the two, kind of.
I’ve been wanting to start a one for a while now, and even though I’ve still not committed to a £10 notepad.
In the meantime I’m just drooling over planner instagrammers & pinterest posts.
